Our department is always looking for volunteers.  It takes a special type of individual who is willing to commit a set amount of time per week to volunteer at the station.  It is not an easy job by no means.  Training is held once a week and your presence  is expected.

Firefighter EMT/Intermediate/Paramedic

HIRING PROCESS

The hiring process, in most cases, begins with the submission of the job application .

Meanwhile, a written exam will be scheduled and administered to all applicants. The written exam will determine who will proceed to an interview panel.

The next step would be for an applicant to have an appointment scheduled for an Chiefs interview.  Should both parties be interested, the department would proceed with completing a background check, driver's license check and verifying any certifications and references that were submitted with the application.

Pay & Benefits

Approximate Salary:
• Full Time: $30,600 for first year (Paramedic $35,125);
• Incentives for - TCFP certifications, Advanced EMT / Medic, Education, & Longevity
